Another (Way Over Due) Update

It's hard to believe that our last update was way back in October. The year ended with me getting a route and strip training authorization so I could check a new pilot into the Rumginae area. This was in preparation for our move to Wewak which happened the middle of February. This has given us a month in Wewak now and we are just beginning to feel settled in this new town and with the new program here.
I have spent the last three weeks being checked over all the routes in the area and into the 40 airstrips I will be responsible for in the area. It is always hard working trying to keep all new new airstrips straight in my head. Which one was that again? Here's a birds eye view of our new place. (Click on it to get a larger view)

The kids are growing as quick as ever and finding new friends quickly on the compound. We are thankful that there are some kids here very close to Kayla's age for her to play with.

Stay tuned for more....Now that we have internet access again we'll try to keep this more up to date.

Great to hear from you guys again! I check your blog from time and time was beginning to lose hope of seeing news...so thanks for the update! We have another son, that's what's new with us, plus we are praying about heading overseas in missions in the not-so-distant future...if you think of it, pray we will have courage to respond to God's call...we aren't sure what exactly that is yet. But anyway, put up a picture of you two, I'd love to see Paula's smiling face again! Take care, and may the peace of God be with you. mary

Thanks for posting such useful and personal info that I can download and post for our people. We have been taking some special times of prayer and including you in those times. May God's grace, encouragement and joy be yours!

Just read your newsletter update and so found your blog. I loved the expression in the newsletter; " ... in this land of the unexpected." Sounds like the title for your memoires one day.

Would you mind if I linked this blog from one of my own?
